In old times soakaways consisted of large pits filled with hardcore, stones and gravel. The problem with these installations is that over time soil and debris get washed down filling the voids and rendering the soakaway useless. With surface water management now a major factor with developers, homeowners and local authorities, soakaway crates are now the modern and efficient everyday replacement. We also install our soakaway crate systems wrapped in Terram Geotextiles to prevent the ingress of fine materials to prolong effectiveness.
